Step 1: Free searching
Sign up online, download the app, or give us a call to get started. We know it’s important for us to earn your trust, so creating a Herewith account, searching for your caregiver, and getting support during hiring is all complimentary.
Step 2: Dedicated hiring support
Our team of Care Experts will work to find the best caregivers for your needs. You’ll be able to browse background-checked, vetted caregivers online that match your budget, schedule, preferences, and location. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, we’ll go beyond the platform to recruit additional candidates. Then, our team will set up video interviews with the candidates you choose. We’ll join you on the interviews to make sure everything goes smoothly and help with any next steps.
Step 3: Help managing day-to-day care
Once you’ve hired a caregiver, you can take advantage of our services for new household employers like you. We offer easy automatic payroll, transparent time- and task-tracking, help managing employment taxes, workers’ comp, professional liability insurance, and more.

How much does Herewith cost?
While traditional care agencies charge as much as 50% for their services on top of their caregivers’ hourly rates, at Herewith you will have a set 20% fee once care begins. Because we take your total hourly budget into account while we search for caregivers, we work to find candidates that keep your cost more reasonable and give you more care for your money, more flexibility in setting hours and choosing your own caregiver, and the same strong customer support and protections as an agency.
Hire who you want, safely
We know your top priority in finding a caregiver for yourself or a loved one is safety. Before they’re eligible to interview with families, caregivers on Herewith undergo an initial vetting interview by our team of Care Experts. Next, they are required to pass a platform eligibility background check, verified by our partners at Checkr, which includes a criminal background check, SSN check, and motor vehicle check. You’ll also have a chance to do your own vetting and request references during the interview stage.
