Frequently asked questions
Who is eligible for home dialysis through Gold Kidney?
Individuals on the Gold Dialysis and Kidney Plan in participating Arizona counties qualify for Gold Assist benefits, including Cochise, Coconino, Gila, Graham, Maricopa, Navajo, Pima, and Pinal counties.
What can Helpers do?
Under Gold Assist, Helpers can help with administering dialysis treatments, cannulation, monitoring, transportation to the clinic, and respite care for primary family caregivers.
How are Helpers vetted?
Helpers on the Herewith platform are 100% background-check on local, state, and federal levels. In addition dialysis Helpers are subject to clinic approval and training.
How does payment work?
Home dialysis is included in your Gold Assist benefits through Gold Dialysis and Kidney plans. Members qualify for up to 5 hours per treatment with no out of pocket cost.
