What is Herewith?

Herewith is a platform for finding in-home senior care. You can book background-checked Helpers for as much or as little time as you need, giving you complete control over how much care you’d like to receive and how much you’d like to spend per hour.

How do I find in-home care on Herewith?

  • First you’ll create your free account and enter the zip code where care will take place.
  • Once you’ve logged in, you can browse Helpers in your area and create a custom Help Request, basically a simple job post, sharing what kind of help you’re looking for, how many hours, and how much you’ll pay.
  • Next, Helpers will apply. You can review their profiles and chat with them to choose the best fit for your needs.

How do I download the Herewith app?

To download our free mobile app for iPhones: visit the App Store here. Or, for Android phones, go to the Google Play Store here.

Can I choose my own Helper?

Yes, on Herewith you’re in charge of who you want to hire, whether that’s just for the day or on a weekly schedule. Control over care is in your hands.

How does Herewith help save money on senior care?

With no commitments, hourly minimums, or monthly subscriptions, you're in charge of what you want to spend. When you create a Help Request, you get to set the hourly rate for your Helper. Pay as you go just for the care you receive.

Are Helpers on the Herewith platform vetted?

All of the Helpers you’ll see on our platform are 100% background-checked by Checkr and pass both state and federal checks annually.

Are Helpers covered by insurance?

Yes, Helpers are covered by professional liability insurance and workers compensation while they are at work in your home.

Can I book a Helper for someone other than myself?

Yes, definitely. Many people book help on behalf of parents, spouses, siblings, even friends and neighbors. We make it easy to find and manage help for your loved ones, whether you live nearby or are long distance. You’ll find everything you need on our platform.

What kind of senior care can Helpers do?

  • Helpers can fulfill a variety of non-medical home help and senior care needs. Book a Helper for one-off tasks, such as picking up an order at the pharmacy, or hire them on an ongoing basis if you need part-time or full-time care from a friendly Helper. You’ll set your own schedule and let your Helper know what kind of care you need.
  • Popular Help Requests include: assistance with household chores, such as cleaning and tidying, cooking and meal prep, errands such as grocery shopping, assistance with outings to appointments, companionship, respite care, and more.

Can Helpers work in assisted living or senior living communities?

Yes. Many people choose to seek out supplemental help outside of what’s provided by assisted living, senior living, or nursing home. Helpers are great for giving assistance getting to and from appointments, doing errands, providing companionship, and more.

Can I use Herewith where I live?

Founded in California, we are a growing, nationwide senior care platform. Not seeing Helpers in your area yet? Create a Help Request so we can recruit new Helpers to meet your in-home help needs.
