Top communication tips for caregivers on Herewith

Chats are a great way to get to know your senior care clients before booking and communicate about tasks, care, and scheduling during and after your shifts. However there are a few essential guidelines that will help keep both you and our Herewith community safe.

✅ What to do:

  • Do ask questions about the client’s Help Request and their care needs
  • Do communicate necessary information about your skills and work experience
  • Do message your client if you are running late or if the task is running over the allotted time

⛔ What not to do:

  • Don’t share personal or private information, including phone numbers, email addresses, or physical addresses
  • Don’t engage in hate speech, harassment, or abusing language
  • Don’t spam (repeatedly or aggressively message) Helpers
