Unlike traditional care agencies that typically include overhead that adds up to 50% in fees on top of the caregiver’s hourly wage, the Herewith service fee is a simple 20% with no hidden charges.

The Herewith service fee gives you access to a full range of trustworthy, background-checked local caregivers, or “Helpers” on the Herewith platform. Plus you get liability insurance coverage and tools that take the stress out of booking and paying for in-home senior care.

What’s the cost of booking a one-time task on Herewith?

When you request a Helper for a one-time task, you will not only set the hourly rate for the task, you will also provide a time frame for the task, for example, 1PM-3PM. How much does it cost to hire a caregiver for ongoing senior care services on Herewith?

On Herewith you also have the option to hire a Helper for ongoing senior care services, part-time or full time. You’ll set your budget and calculate the cost of ongoing help the same way as with one-time tasks. You’ll choose the hourly rate you’re comfortable with and set the amount of help you’ll receive every week.

While your hourly rate is calculated the same way with ongoing help, the only difference is that it’s billed on a weekly basis, rather than on an immediate, on-time basis.

Are there any additional fees I should be aware of?

At Herewith we pride ourselves on clear, transparent pricing and affordable in-home care costs. The Herewith service fee is always the same no matter what kind of caregiving services you book, but there are a couple of additional fees to be aware of: a cancellation fee for bookings cancelled without advance notice and an optional fee if you’d like to take advantage of payroll and employment tax support with our partner, HomeWork Solutions.

What to know about Herewith’s Cancellation Fee

If your Help Request has not been confirmed and booked with a Helper, you may cancel it at any time.

If you have already confirmed a booking with a Helper, you may cancel at no charge up until 3 hours prior to the scheduled Help Request. If you cancel within 3 hours of the booked request, you will be charged a prorated amount equal to one hour.

Optional payroll and employment tax support: HomeWork Solutions Setup Fee + Quarterly Fees

If you are hiring a Helper for ongoing care (part-time or full-time), you may wish to opt in to payroll and employment tax support from our partner, HomeWork Solutions.
